P-VALLEY (STARZ)

P-Valley is a lyrical, noir-based, melodrama set in The Pynk, a strip club in the fictional town of Chucualissa, Mississippi. Created by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Katori Hall, with a cast called “uniformly outstanding” by the New York Times, this show quickly became Starz’s most lauded.
 
Jennifer Arnold directed Season 2’s stand-out episode “Jackson,” where Mercedes and her daughter visit Mississippi’s last surviving abortion clinic. Arnold returned to Season 3 as a Co-EP and Producing Director, directing 4 of the season’s 9 episodes.
